Feedback from Aranya clients on the process of building and / or launching their custom software application
 
I'm always trying to build a better mousetrap and pick a lot of brains in the process. As such, I recently posed the following two questions to three of Aranya's current clients:
 
1.     What has been the most challenging aspect of getting ready to launch / launching your project?
2.   Why did you choose to work with Aranya over another development firm / individual?
 
Their feedback was, of course, invaluable and I have included it below. If you're an entrepreneur or innovator who is in the process of building out a custom software application, I would enjoy hearing your answers as well!
 
Client 1:
What has been the most challenging aspect of getting ready to launch / launching your project?
The most challenging aspect of getting ready to launch has been getting the code written in a timely fashion. I think much of the delay has been the result of Aranya having to take over an existing piece of software.
 
Note: This client's software was initially developed by someone who never created therefore could not provide adequate system documentation. The lack of documentation complicated the transition process.
 
Why did you choose to work with Aranya over another development firm / individual?
I chose Aranya first on the basis of Kyle Holt's (U Inc.) recommendation. I needed a Java developer, and Kyle recommended Aranya. I felt comfortable with Aranya's knowledge, and my prior developer confirmed that Aranya's software engineers knew their stuff.
 
Client 2:
What has been the most challenging aspect of getting ready to launch / launching your project?
Getting the program completed in a way where it is good enough to go to market while staying under budget.  

Why did you choose to work with Aranya over another development firm / individual?
Aranya was willing to take on the unknown piece of my project when no one else was willing to risk it.  Aranya took the attitude I like to take in finding projects and committed to finding a way to get it done.
 
Client 3:
What has been the most challenging aspect of getting ready to launch / launching your project?
The most challenging aspect of getting ready to launch a project is getting all the other aspects of your business ready to go so when you launch you don't waste any time growing the new project.  However, in my case, this becomes difficult because the development is the heart and soul of my business and it is hard to getting everything in line until the project is completed and can be tested by others.

Why did you choose to work with Aranya over another development firm / individual?
Aranya provided the personal experience I did not feel from other firms.  They not only help you detail your development but help you connect to people in the other aspects of your business.  Another one of the major reasons I used Aranya was when I asked around Kansas City who the best developers were - Aranya always was mentioned.  I trusted them with everything and it has paid off.
